Hobron County

In order to preserve the physical beauty and unique way of life at Hobron County, there are substantial restrictions on the amount, density and types of development allowed in the County. Accordingly, although the population of critters may at times be extensive, extremely few people ("human critters") actually reside in the County.

Here is some information regarding our leading citizens.

Our County Administrator

Ed Schrank, our County Administrator, began his career as a tax, real estate, and public utility attorney in Coconut Grove, Florida during the infamous "Miami Vice Era" in South Florida.

For whatever reasons, he now lives as a hermit in a small cabin, in seclusion, on Hobron Summit, writing books which no one reads, but himself.

Our County Sheriff

Fonda Yarman, our County Sheriff, began her career in law enforcement as a much decorated Hall Monitor at a Syracuse, NY, public School.

Ms. Yarman is also a registered nurse and a well renowned and accomplished hiking, backpacking and outdoor buff, who goes by the trailname, "Fonda Mae, Supertramp, Rockstar, Gingerwolf, The Wanderer, Rock-N-Muffin, Yarman"
